Beeline rolls out mobile DVB-H TV in Moscow
VimpelCom (which operates under the Beeline trademark) has announced test launch of mobile DVB-H TV service in Moscow city, capital of Russia.
Mobile TV service Beeline provides its users with the ability to watch common TV channels on mobile. Users can watch eleven channels. While service operates in beta mode, it is available free of charge.
Users, who want to use mobile TV service Beeline, should buy Samsung P960 handset with DVB-H support, as well as special Beeline SIM card (for new subscribers). Current Beeline subscribers can exchange their SIM card and get a new one (with DVB-H support). The exchange is carried out for free. User’s account, mobile number and plan stay the same with the new SIM card.
Mobile TV service is managed by Dominanta company which is a part of VimpelCom Group.
