MTS and Ericsson launch renovated Mobile WAP Portal

MTS, the largest cellular network operator in Russia and CIS countries, and Ericsson announced the launch of Mobile WAP Portal wap.mts.by based on Ericsson Mobile Services Delivery Platform (MSDP).

By entering renovated Mobile Portal, MTS Belarus subscribers get an opportunity to acquire quickly and in a simple manner various content (pictures, ringtones, games), manage personal account, change tariff plans, etc.

    As currently MTS WAP Portal wap.mts.by is an internal resource of MTS, subscribers can browse through pages free of charge and pay only for content acquisition.

    In order to use the services of Mobile Portal, subscriber needs no registration – MTS Belarus subscribers automatically receive access to available resources/ Among other advantages of Mobil portal – its device independence (superior rendering capabilities with best in class device database), simplified and fast access to end-user services & content, easy Portal authorization (MSISDN based) and instant payments at users don't need to send/receive order SMS/USSD.

    Mobile Portal is based on Ericsson Mobile Services Delivery Platform (MSDP) – a business platform for multimedia service delivery, providing many cross-cutting functionalities to help mobile operator provide cost-efficient, attractive and competitive multimedia services.
