IncoreMedia signed exclusive agreement with Shazam
IncoreMedia has signed partnership agreement with British service-provider Shazam Entertainment Limited in early March. With this partnership, IncoreMedia has got exclusive right for promoting Music Recognition service in Russia and CIS.
In Russia the service promotion is handled by IncoreMedia company. The service was launched for the first time in July 2008 with VimpelCom (which operates under the Beeline trademark), third largest operator in the country. To date subscribers of MegaFon, NSS (Nizhny Novgorod), NTK (Vladivostok) and K'cell (Kazakhstan) carriers can use the music recognition service. In the nearest future, the service will be launched in Georgian, Ukrainian and Azerbaijani operators' networks, as well as by leading Russian radio stations.
The next stage of service evolution will be development of branded WAP portals with music content catalogue large enough to satisfy needs of the broadest audience.
