Tele2 Russia announced 3Q07 quarter results
TELE2 Russia announced 3Q07 results. Operating revenue reached $192 mln which means 62% increase compared to the same period in 2006. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) rose to $64 mln, EBITDA margin - 33% (compared to EBITDA $29.8 mln and EBITDA margin - 25% in 3Q06). Tele2 Russia added 647 000 subscribers in the third quarter of the year (including subscribers of Tele2-Irkutsk which was sold in Aug 2007). In the 3Q06 the company added 711 000 new subscribers. ARPU reached $8.15 compared to $7.56 in 3Q06. The overall subscribers base of Tele2 Russia increased to 7 996 000 subscribers as of 30 September 2007.
