MTS subscriber base grew to 91,4 mln in Januarey
Mobile TeleSystems ("MTS" – NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, announces that its consolidated subscriber base reached 91.40 million users on January 31, 2009.
During January, MTS consolidated subscriber base increased by 0.07 million subscribers with 280 thousand subscribers added in Moscow. In Turkmenistan, the Company reached a milestone with one million subscribers.
