Zed Russia and CLUB VOLVO help on road by SMS
Zed Russia (formerly known as INFON) and CLUB VOLVO introduce SMS-service which is said to help club members to communicate, get information and various contact data. The aim of the project is to create automatic information service which would allow users to communicate by SMS, for example, to inform club members about a traffic accident or car breakdown, etc. Also the service would help inform a large number of users about important events, accidents or danger in a timely manner. SMS-server processes user messages and makes from them packages of information, technical and friend support for further sending to club members' mobile phones.
All subscribers registered in the service during signing-up in CLUB VOLVO can send mobile text messages to different user groups, which have their own code word and stored on SMS server of Zed Russia. Short number of SMS server is known only to club members and the administrator, so users of the service are protected from spamming.
