DIXIS and i-Free start a joint project

DIXIS, a premier cell phone retailer in Russia and Kazakhstan, and i-Free have announced plans to continue their partnership in content services by offering free downloads of mobile phone game demos. The demo versions are available to cell phone users in Kazakhstan at DIXIS stores around the country.

Mobile phone games are an increasingly popular entertainment, yet phone users rarely get a chance to sample the quality of the product before purchasing. DIXIS Asia and i-Free-Kazakhstan have made this convenience available to all.

Cell phone users in Kazakhstan are welcome to try out the demo versions of i-Free games for free at DIXIS stores by downloading them with Bluetooth.

"We constantly expand our range of value added services and mobile content. This is not the first time we bring in i-Free as our partner," commented Dmitry Sanin, DIXIS Group officer for Kazakhstan. "I'm sure mobile game fans will love and appreciate this new service improvement."

DIXIS Asia and i-Free-Kazakhstan first joined forces last December to publish a content catalogue to be handed out to shoppers at DIXIS stores in Kazakhstan.

The new DIXIS/i-Free project is new to Kazakhstan. Never before have Kazakh phone users been able to sample content before buying it.

i-Free game demos are available at DIXIS stores in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, Atyrau, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar and most other major cities in Kazakhstan.

"Consumers are overwhelmed by an avalanche of games on the market, and are not always able to pick a relevant, high-quality product," said i-Free-Kazakhstan CEO Ivan Soloviov. "We hope our initiative, undertaken in conjunction with DIXIS, will save users time and money on content search, and possibly encourage some new shoppers to discover the excitement of mobile content."
