Top three games in the rating are «Monsters vs. Aliens», «Madagascar 2», «Watchmen: The Mobile Game», all of them by Glu Mobile.

HeroРЎraft company begins development of the J2ME version of "Yumsters!", licensed by KranX Productions. The game won the industry award for "Best Game Design" at the Russian Game Development Conference 2007 which was a unique case for a downloadable game! The release of "Yumsters!" mobile is planned for Q4 2009.

The first position is occupied by Zuma (Glu Mobile), the second - Need for Speedв„ў ProStreet (EA Mobile) and the third place S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mobile (Nomoc).

The only game developed by CIS company is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mobile (Ukrainian developer Qplaze)

As source data for the analysis the company used statistics of its mobile games sales in Ukraine during February 2009. The best selling game in February in Ukraine is arcade simulator of helicopter battles «Black Shark 2: Siberia» by Herocraft.

A collection of well-known computer games (Minesweeper, Free Cell and Spider Solitaire) updated for mobile phones took the second position in the rating. RPG Gothic 3 (HandyGames is the developer of the game) took the third place.

Top 10 rating of the best-selling Java games for mobile phones and smartphones in Ukraine in February 2009 has changed dramatically since January, and welcomed nine new games. Action game «Journey to the Center of the Earth» is the only game that remained in the top moving down from the first to the fifth position in the list.

Ukrainian mobile game developer Qplaze announces that on February 7, 2009 the number of subscribed players of mobile MMORPG game Age of Heroes Online surpassed 20,000 people. Andrej Baranovskij, Qplaze president, says: «On January 1, 2008 Europe server of Age of Heroes Online was opened for full access for all cellular operators in Russia and Ukraine. Only after this we could realize how many people are willing to play online mobile games. For just a little bit more than a month the number of subscribed users increased by 10,000 people.
