- Nikita Mobile launches USSD-portal for Armenian mobile operator based on the WINGS platform -
Nikita Mobile (Armenia) has won the tender for developing of mobile content USSD-portal for one of the three Armenian mobile operators. While creating the USSD-portal Nikita Mobile involved WINGS, who developed the platform for content providers. (Previously, Nikita Mobile transferred its own services to WINGS multi-transport platform supporting SMS, IVR, WAP, USSD, etc.). WINGS team conducted works on connecting the platform to the operator, realizing of transport protocol, integrating with the project information partner’s systems, and preparing statistics. The platform supports the direct interaction with the operator’s system and provides multiple information services and entertainment content catalogue to the subscribers. Withdrawal from the subscriber's account for the paid services is made by MT billing. The information partners of the portal have access to the USSD-portal online statistics.

VimpelCom (which operates under the Beeline trademark) published the rating of content-providers for January 2009. Top-20 is based on total fee paid to companies by VimpelCom for providing services via partner programs (voice, SMS, WAP). Top 5 companies in the rating are i-Free, A1, INFON, Iricom, Neva Line.

Top-20 is based on total fee paid to companies by VimpelCom for providing services via partner programs (voice, SMS, WAP). Top 5 companies in the rating are A1, i-Free, INFON, Iricom, Neva Line.
- Vimpelcom released content-providers ratings for November and December 2007- November ratings we published yesterday, but today Vimpelcom («Beeline» trademark, the second largest mobile operator in Russia after MTS) published ratings of content-providers for December and «revised» ratings for November. No changes for Top10 November. Here are the Top20 content-providers for the last two months of 2007. Ratings are based upon the total fee received by the content-provider which participates in the Vimpelcom partner program. The more fee content-provider gets the more closer it to the top of the list.
